White Zulu [ebook]

Author: Howard Whitehouse.
A historical farce in the same vein as the Flashman books, White Zulu describes adventures and misadventures of Colonel Bagshot, late of her Majesty’s Hussars in the battles of Isandlwana and Rourke’s Drift. Solidly based in historical events, it plays on the “unseen events” of war to tell a tale in his retirement.
Howard Whitehouse is a British writer and game designer. Since the 1980s he has published two books of military history, five novels for young people, and designed more than twenty sets of wargames rules. He lives with four fine cats and his very patient American wife in New York’s Hudson Valley, in a 1900 era church manse cluttered up with books, model soldiers, miniature buildings and, indeed, himself. He has also been called, “..one of the finest comic writers of our day”.
